I can assist you to prepare your bookkeeping statements in accordance with professional standards but express no opinion or any form of assurance on the information included in the bookkeeping statements.

Audit and Review

If you need an opinion or assurance on your bookkeeping statements, then it would be either a review engagement or an audit. I do provide audit or review for small businesses but not for larger companies. Audit or review requires that you have your bookkeeping in good order.

Bookkeeping

We offer a full range of bookkeeping services from monitoring your current system to full preparation of bookkeeping including payroll and GST.

Tax services

We prefer to take a proactive bookkeeping approach to tax planning by doing tax planning in advance rather than after the fact. We provide tax planning that clients deserve throughout the year which is one of the reasons that I am a big fan of having us do your monthly bookkeeping.

Computer software support and setup

We use a variety of computer-based bookkeeping accounting software. We can assist you with your bookkeeping software questions and help your system do what you want it to do.

SRED - Scientific research and development tax applications

If you do any new technology development, you may be eligible for SRED credits. Those who qualify receive back up to 35% tax refund on all expenses related to the project - this can turn out to be a substantial number. If you think you qualify, please give me a call and I can direct you in applying.

Business projections and banking

Many businesses are looking to develop a bookkeeping plan to present to your banker for financing. Usually you are looking for projected cash flow statements and sensitivity to economic conditions. I can prepare the bookkeeping documents you need to present to your banker.
